SEEKH: A RESIDENTIAL ART PROGAM

Hayde Heritage Academy has launched a +12 level residential program curated for young, creative, design school aspirants known as SEEKH. It is proposed to be a programme for students who have their dreams fixed on a Fine Art or Design course in college or an Art and Design career post college.

Functioning very much within the fold of CBSE, this programme is a +2 level course where the child will take 5 subjects that would be part of the CBSE curriculum which would thus enable the child to get the AISSCE certificate acceptable by all colleges in India and abroad. So, in case there is a change of heart and thus the mind the child can continue with regular academics in college. But the game changer is the Art integration where the child will encounter for the first- time subjects like critical design thinking, skill development, and portfolio building.

The uniqueness of this program lies in entrance preparation for design colleges like NID, Shristi School of Art, Design and Technology, The Design Village, NIFT, MIT and many other colleges both in India and abroad.

This is a residential programme to take full advantage of the children on campus so that their day could be more fruitfully engaged. The entire program would be divided into 4 semesters which would cover the two years the student is with us at Seekh. These children would be attended to separately for academics. The focus on academics would be encapsulated to allow the children more time for art while securing decent grades in the Boards.

The children would be able to select interdisciplinary subjects from Science, Commerce or Humanities. The subjects on offer would be Applied and Commercial Arts, English, Hindi, Sociology, History, Music Instrumental, Music Vocal, Physical Education, Geography, Psychology, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The student would have to choose any 5 subjects with Applied and Commercial Arts a compulsory subject.
