Commissioned into the Indian Army as an officer with the prestigious Air Defence Regiment, Lt. Col. Kunwar Ajay Singh, Winner of ‘Navchintan Trophy’ and the coveted ‘Silver Gun’ Trophy, was trained to handle air defence operations.
As the Joint Director at Integrated Ministry of Defence he represented the Director General of Military Intelligence at the National Security Council of India.
After retiring from the Army, Lt. Col. Singh served as Director of General Operations at Reliance BIG Entertainment Ltd and as Executive Senior Vice President at International Techno Media, where he was responsible for business development, formulating partnership strategies, and establishing collaborations in the field of large-format, networked LED-based outdoor advertising.
While continuing his role as a security and risk consultant and advisor for OMNI Securities (U.K.), Lt. Col. Singh co-founded a residential school in Kotdwara, Uttarakhand, along with Brig. Desmond E. Hayde and Dr. Rupamala Singh. Since then, he has devoted his time and energy to developing and supporting the school, drawing upon his exceptional management skills and deep commitment to nurturing young minds.
An avid naturalist and environmentalist, Lt. Col. Singh is a founding member of the environmental NGO HESCO and currently serves on the Eco-Tourism Committee of Pauri Garhwal. He continues to inspire and guide students to become environmentally conscious and ecologically responsible individuals.
Lt. Col. Singh has spent considerable time motivating students to join the Armed Forces and has personally trained many of them free of cost. He continues to guide and mentor the institution, upholding the core values that have come to define its character and spirit.
